I just installed EndNote X or later and my EndNote Web Toolbar is missing. How
can I get it back?

Answer:
This is by design. While Cite While You Write
support is included for both the EndNote X or later application and EndNote Web, they
cannot be used simultaneously. You can swap between the EndNote
desktop and EndNote Web Cite While You Write tools where
appropriate.
- In Word, go to the Tools menu, choose EndNote X or later, and then
Cite While You Write Preferences. (Or, you could click the EN
Pref icon on the EndNote toolbar.)
- Click on the Application tab.
- Select EndNote Web and click OK.
Note: If you select EndNote Web, you must also enter your
subscription details, which includes the appropriate URL, your email
address, and your password. You can opt to have the email and password saved for future sessions.
