Can I convert a ProCite database to EndNote Web? |
Answer:
You can export references from ProCite to a format that can then be imported into EndNote Web. To do this:
- Open ProCite and open the database. Go to the File menu in ProCite and select Print Bibliography and choose the Output Style RIS-EndNote.pos (click to download)
- On the Print Bibliography window select the "Configure" button and go to the "Fields" tab. In the "Fields" window check all optional fields.
- Click OK, then the "Save" button and save as a text file (with a file extension of .txt).
- In EndNote Web, select the "Import" menu on the left.
- In the Import window, select the text file in field 1 by clicking on the Browse button.
- In the dropdown for field 2, choose the Import filter called "RefMan (RIS)".
- Click the Import button and your references will be imported into the Unfiled folder.
